GENERAL INFORMATION

PUNE

Pune is considered as the cultural capital of Maharastra, and it is also emerging as an educational capital of India. A large number of youth from Afro-Asian countries are pursuing higher education and research in various institute and Universities in Pune.  Apart from VAMNICOM there are many National level Institutions in Pune such as National Defense Academy, National Insurance Academy, National Institute of Bank Management, College of agricultural Banking, CIRT, IUCCA, NIV, NCL, AFMC, etc.

LOCATION

The Institute is located close to Pune University campus off University Road.  It is 7 Kms. away from Pune Railway Station & 15 Kms. from the Pune Air Port. Taxies / Auto Rickshaws are easily available.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING:

Pune is known for its salubrious climate.  It rains during the monsoon, June to September.  Rest of the year it is generally dry and pleasant.  Light warm clothing is usually required from November to February when the night temperature might dip upto 8'C.
