COURSE STRUCTURE

PGDBM
The PGDBM (2004-06 batch) programme is designed with classroom teaching component integrating case method pedagogy. 36 credits are required to be completed in 6 terms. 24 credits of subjects offered on General Management and 10 credits of specialisation subjects are offered in the area of (i) Agri Business Management and (ii) Banking and Insurance Management. Two credit courses are devoted to project courses to equip the students to take up challenging assignments in the Agri Business, Banking and Insurance sectors. *   One course credit is equivalent to 28-30 contact sessions of 70 minutes each and requires the student to put in at least 80 hours of work outside the classroom.

Note: The students are required to complete basic course in computers like MS-Office before
joining the Programme.

DIPLOMA

At the end of the two years and on successful completion of the course the students will be eligible for Diploma which will indicate the year of study, date of passing and the division. The detailed mark sheet for the four semesters shall be issued to all those who have cleared all the Semesters.

DISCIPLINE
i)  It is mandatory for the students to wear formal dresses during all formal occasions. The girls     are required to wear Saree with matching blouse and boys should wear blazer(dark blue) with     matching trouser and tie.
ii)  The students are advised to be especially careful in fulfilling requirement in respect of     attendance, assignments, examination and project report. Final Placement and Summer     Placement considered only for those who fulfill all the requirements on all these areas.
iii) Attendance on the commencement and closing dates are compulsory. Management shall     impose fine on those students who fail to comply with it.
iv)They should read notices placed on the notice board for all communication and act     accordingly. The Director’s decision in all academic matters and discipline shall be final and     binding.
