GENERAL
CANDIDATES
a)
REGISTRATION
i) The Application forms duly filled -in with Certified/Attested
Copies of testimonials and Marksheets along with
examination fee of Rs.500/- in cash or by Demand draft in favour
of Director, VAMNICOM, Pune should be sent to
the Coordinator - PGDBA, Vaikunth Mehta National
Institute of Co-operative Management, University Road, Pune - 411
007 by 25.4.2002 by post. The form can also be
submitted by hand upto 5.5.2002
ii) On receipt of the filled-in application form, the Institute
shall be sending Admit Card confirming the Examination Centre &
Place for Interview and Group Discussion.
b) ELIGIBILITY
i) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
from a recognised University,
(45% for SC/ST).
ii) Applicants who have appeared for Bachelor’s Degree examination
and awaiting results may also apply subject to
fulfillment of conditions by 14/ 09/2002.
iii) Proficiency in English is essential.
SELECTION
PROCEDURE
i) The selection to PGDBA Program is based on a) Written Test b)
Group Discussion and c) Interview.
ii) The weightage for Written Test is 85% , Group Discussion &
Interview 15%.
iii) All the candidates appearing for the Written Test should appear
for the Group Discussion & Interviews.
iv) Reservation of seats for SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates
as per rules.
iv) A Written Test of Two hours duration on CAT Pattern will be
held at 9.30am on 12th May,2002
(Sunday) at the following Centres.
The candidates should indicate 3 centres in order of preference
of which atleast one should be either Pune
or New Delhi. Final allotment of Centre will be done at
the discretion of the Institute.

vi) The
selected candidates for Admission shall be informed by 31st May 2002.
vii) Director's decision in accepting or rejecting any application
and in granting or refusing admission to any
candidate shall be final and no reason for such action will be assigned.
viii) The tuition fee and other fees should be paid either by cash
or Demand Draft in favour of Director,
VAMNICOM, Pune.
NRI/FOREIGN CANDIDATES
i) Eligibility conditions are same as in the case of General
Candidates.
ii) No Admission Test is required. However, a separate merit
list will be prepared on the basis of Marks
obtained in Graduation.
iii) The Prospectus and Application can be obtained by paying US$
70/- or equivalent Indian Currency in cash
or Demand Draft in favour of Director, VAMNICOM, Pune.
iv) For Foreign & NRI students sponsored under bilateral
Exchange Programme with Govt. of India- Course
Fee, boarding, lodging, Book allowance & Pocket Allowance etc.
are payable as per the
scholarship norms.
v) The filled-in Application Form with certified copies of Testimonials
and marksheets should be sent to the Coordinator-PGDBA,
Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management by 15-06- 2002.
vi)The Tuition fee & other charges are payable in US$ by a Demand
Draft in favour of Director, VAMNICOM, Pune,
after getting confirmation for admission from the Institute.
CO-OPERATIVE
/ GOVERNMENT SPONSORED CANDIDATES
The sponsored candidates are required to appear for an Interview
and the date for the same will be communicated separately. The selection
will be based on their performance in Interview, percentage of marks
at their degree level, number of years of work experience, position
held and the level of the organisation sponsoring such candidates.
A separate selection list will be prepared for sponsored candidates.
